We've compiled a list of our favorites in and around Park City for the 2022/2023 ski season. With continuing, staff limitations at many businesses make your Park City Adventure smooth powder turns and avoid the choppy mess by planning and booking ahead.
Off mountain Park City lunch ideas
Ski down to Main St. There are a few places right at the base of Town Lift that is worth going to. The lift is super scenic and worth the adventure. We highly recommend heading down here. On-mountain dining is fine for a quick bite but it’s expensive. If you are going to
invest in the meal you might as well make it a local restaurant and way more delicious.
Davanza’s is a local pizza restaurant. Located just below the bridge that takes you over to
the lift from the trail. You can ski down just before the bridge and cross over the road (located on Park Ave)
The Bridge Café and Grill – Located across the bridge right at the base of the Town Lift.
High West Saloon – Take the exit before the bridge, pop your board/skis off and have lunch or Apres at the town’s favorite whisky bar. (21+ only at this restaurant).
Harvest Café – there are 2 locations that you can take advantage of. One right at the base of PCMR. The other is located below the bridge at Town Lift. They do a mean Flat White coffee and pay homage to Australian cuisine. This is high on our list of recommendations.
Silver Star Café – located at the base of the Silver Star lift. Race your buddies down Ligety split and have lunch at their café. Great wood-fired pizzas and pasta. I would call this perfect skiing food.
Deer Valley Dining - You can pretty much guarantee that you will find award-winning chefs and food at Deer Valley. Their entire menu is great both on the mountain and off the mountain.
After the skiing is done
Ice Castles – located down in the Swiss town of Midway. Book ahead (tickets go on sale November 28th) and make sure you make a
dinner reservation at one of Midway’s many award-winning restaurants. It’s one of Utah’s hidden gems.
Snow Globe walk around Main St – dotted around the downtown area of Park City are giant snow globes. While you are finding them duck into any of the amazing stores and grab yourself some
souvenirs.
Make a reservation at Versante and book your ice skates at the same time. They have ice skating out on their lawn that you can take advantage of. Skaters are welcome if you don’t eat but you get a discount on the gear if you do eat there.
Snowed In Sleigh Company – why not jump on a sleigh and get taken up to the restaurant for dinner? This is by far a favorite of many people every year. Both locals and visitors love this adventure.
Skipping skiing for the day
Woodward – from tubing, jumping, rolling, sliding, and everything in between. This is a world-class facility that has
something for everyone.
Soldier Hollow - Nestled above the picturesque town of Midway and resting in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains lies Soldier Hollow Nordic Center at Wasatch Mountain State Park. Although it is primarily known as an Olympic venue, Soldier Hollow hosts a variety of activities throughout the fall, spring, and summer. Athletes at world-class levels and weekend enthusiasts can enjoy the facility on a year-round basis.
Utah Olympic Park – ever wanted to pretend you are on the bobsled team? Well, you can. This is without a doubt A MUST-visit place. Built in 2001 to host the Olympics it is 100% still in use today. It is the breeding ground for Olympic athletes from across the USA. You might even catch a glimpse of any of the team's training. There are free activities to check out and the 2002 Olympic Museum is located here, however, there are a bunch of adventures you can do.
Dog Sledding – Rancho Luna Lobo’s – Park City, Utah’s only true local family-owned and operated kennel and professional racing team. Northern breed rescue and rehabilitation center, and educational dog sled tours. Located just 15 minutes from Downtown Park City, the Ramirez family welcomes you to their home.
Park City Museum - The Park City Museum is a lively nonprofit organization dedicated to Preserving, Protecting, and Promoting Park City's rich history and culturally significant sites. Our solid 40-year history as one of Utah's most popular and successful cultural anchors has resulted in numerous awards, accolades, and regular inclusion in national and international travel guides as a Top Ten Park City attraction.
Snowmobile Tour – Park City Peaks Snowmobiling, think 60,000 acres of private terrain all for your enjoyment. This is Park City’s leading snowmobiling company. They are locally owned and know what they are doing.
Want your heart to skip a beat
Park City Powder Cats – Heli skiing and Cat skiing adventures, this is an adventure that speaks to us. They have some of the most amazing terrain in the state. It truly is an adventure worth the missed heartbeats.
White Pine Touring and Nordic center – Need a backcountry setup? or perhaps you want to stay where the trails are groomed but you want to rent the skinny skis. White Pine has you covered. They even rent Thule carriages with skis in case you feel like putting the babes in there and scooting them around the groomed Nordic trails.
